This engagement photoshoot in Zurich was the perfect date-night-evening kinda photography session! But let me start in the beginning: Anna and Michi found me via Pinterest and are planning to get married in Switzerland next summer. (Which I am so looking forward to btw..) They are living in the states but Michi grew up here and they are considering to move back to Switzerland sometime. We had a facetime call and instantly connected so well. Anna then reached out to me if we could do an engagement photoshoot in Zurich since they love the old town urban vibes of Zurich. I was so excited because it’s so fun to work in a different environment that I usually do (the Swiss Alps). Her vision was to have a date night together and I would just be the third wheel and capture it all haha. I loved this idea and we started planning the photoshoot: Starting off at a fancy coffee shop henrici getting some coffee and then strolling through the Old Town of Zurich. As we walked we found spontaneously so many cool spots which inspired me so much to be creative. Like the carousel where we did some motion blur photos or the beautiful shopping windows everywhere.. (: We also of course had to buy some flowers at a little flower boutique store. After that walked to Lindenhof which is a famous Spot in Zurich where you have the most beautiful view over the old town. There Michi had a little surprise for Anna which I was sooo excited to capture. He did bring the engagement ring for her and suprised her with it. How cute her reaction was omg!! (‘: The stroll through Zurich continued to the beautiful Fraumünster Church and then to the Lake Zurich of course. Normally my photoshoots take max 90 minutes but with those fun people I did take photos for over 2 hours haha. Slowly it was getting dark and we had to take advantage of the beautiful lights and lamps showing off. I also had the honor to not only take digital photographs but also fill up a whole film roll.
