This Proposal Photoshoot in Grindelwald was a 10 out of 10! My lovely Associate, Johanna, did capture this special moment of the proposal of Soha & Reezan. Reezan did plan an amazing surprise for Soha. All started that he told her they would go to New York but flew to Switzerland instead! There they took the train to Grindelwald to have an amazing Picnic made by Marlies from Lisi-Bisi. She lives in Grindelwald and therefore she has good connections to the farmer. Without her it would not have been possible to propose at such an epic place in Grindelwald. Mostly all of the land at Grindelwald is farmers land and they really hate if people go on their land and ruin their grass for the cows.. (: (And it’s not fun to get disturbed at your proposal by an angry Swiss Farmer haha..) So Marlies did prep the most yummy picnic for the lovely couple in advance and even picked them up and drove them to the Location in Grindelwald. There Reezan finally could go on his knees and ask Soha the important question: if she would love to be his wife. And she said YES of course! After that it was time to take the dreamiest couple photos with this breathtaking mountain view. And of course toast to the engagement and enjoy the best picnic in the Swiss Alps in Grindelwald. I loved to edit the photos and give them the last magical touch through editing.

To my future couples who would like to propose in Grindelwald: Please reach out as early as possible so we can plan your dream proposal with no hurry. I would recommend to book a picnic as well so we have legal access to an epic place like this. Without that we would need to stay on the path and it’s just less romantic and intimate. A proposal photoshoot is priced the same as a standard 1–1.5 hour photo session. The fixed rate is 580 CHF plus travel expenses. I’m happy to help you calculate the travel costs. Absolutely! I’ll send you a “What to Wear” guide packed with tips and tricks. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable, confident, and true to yourselves in your outfit choices. (: Coordinating outfits are key to ensuring your photos look harmonious and cohesive. Everything you need to know is included in the guide!

What should we wear for a winter proposal shoot?
Cozy sweaters, scarves, and hats add warmth and charm to your look. Neutral or muted-colored winter jackets work beautifully with snowy backdrops. Make sure to wear warm boots, especially if we’ll be exploring the snow. Don’t forget thermal layers and something to warm you up during breaks—it’s all about staying comfortable. (: I’ll even bring some hot tea for you! Gloves and hand warmers can help keep your hands cozy, too.

Weather and Backup Plans

If you’re worried about the weather or wondering what happens if it rains, don’t stress! We can adapt the shoot and move to sheltered areas like archways or indoor locations if needed. If the weather gifts us clear skies and sunshine, even better! (: But don’t worry—clouds and rain can create incredibly creative and unique shots too. Promise!

I recommend scheduling your session in the early morning or late afternoon to take advantage of the most beautiful natural light. A typical proposal shoot lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours, but if we have creative ideas or a stunning location to explore, we’ll take the time to make it perfect.
